According to the legislation of the Republic of Belarus foreign citizens temporarily staying or living in the territory of the Republic of Belarus, are to have an obligatory medical insurance agreement or an obligatory medical insurance agreement concluded with a foreign insurance company in case of providing them urgent medical aid.

Foreign BSU students subject to obligatory medical insurance (except citizens of Armenia, Great Britain, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Uzbekistan, Ukraine, Russia, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan) are to get medical insurance policy for the period of their studies (usually for 1 year with the further prolongation). 

The policy contains information about phone numbers necessary if the insurance case appears (illness) and medical institutions as well as the way of calling the ambulance. You can come to the Department of International relations in order to get the insurance policy, prolong it and know more about the insurance conditions.

An obligatory medical insurance agreement can be concluded by foreign BSU students at the Department of International Relations of the BSU at the address: Minsk, 20 Leningradskaya Str.
